Prairie Harvest is a venture between two family farms in Southern Alberta. We are committed to providing consumers with top quality sweet potatoes. We store, cure, and pack on farm in compliance with Canada GAP food safety programs.

Our sweet potatoes are grown from slips (cuttings) sourced locally, as well as from North Carolina, USA.
A new, short season variety makes production of sweet potatoes possible in Western Canada!
The slips are planted in early June, with harvest in September.
Sweet potatoes are not sweet until they are cured directly after harvest, a process that takes about 2 weeks.
